Jujube bff or be prepared

I need something to pack for my 9 month old and a few things for my 4.5 year old. I'm a definite overpacked, so I am leaning to the be prepared, but I can't tell if it would be too huge for every day. I also love the padded backpack straps if the bff. I would love some feedback. I have seen the bff in person, but not the be prepared.

  • Personally, I am excited to be getting a backpack option (I got the Petunia Picklebottom boxy backpack). I have very small shoulders and my purse straps always slip down off my shoulder, so a big, bulky bag seems like it will be cumbersome when trying to also handle the baby. I am looking forward to having the option of wearing it on my back and having my hands completely free.

  • The Be Prepared is pretty huge.  I have one and I use it to hold clothes for me and DD when we go out of town for the weekend.  It's that big.  If you are truly an overpacker and are packing stuff for all day, it would be okay, but for anything more than that it might be overkill.

It also gets heavy if you plan to carry it all day.  The BFF is a more manageable size.  Don't get me wrong, both are great bags, but the Be Prepared is really big.  There are packed pics on JJB's Pink Room if you want to check out how much it holds and how it looks when worn.

  • I'd go with the BFF. The Be Prepared is really big and more of a weekender/overnight bag IMO. I tend to overpack for 2 kids, and can still fit everything we need in the BFF. For short outings, I like the BeTween. If you like the backpack option, I'd also check out the Packabe or Be Right Back. I think both will hold as much as the BFF.
