37w2d Update - Twins

My MFM checked me this morning and I am 1 cm dilated and 80% effaced. He said that if I don't go into labor on my own in the next few days, they will induce me on Thursday. The office is supposed to call me tomorrow to schedule an induction time.

I'm torn: I'm praying that I'll go into labor on my own, but on the other hand, I'm also hoping I can make it to the induction because then I know my MFM will be there to deliver my babies. Positives and negatives to each scenario - I suppose that's life. Anyway, I can't wait to meet my babies. I just want them to be healthy and in my arms. 

How are my other mamas doing that are almost at the finish line?

    This time next week you'll be the mom to two amazing little people. Isn't that the coolest thought? I found myself thinking that a lot in my last week. I'll keep you in my thoughts and I look forward to pictures. Good luck!

    So exciting!  I know how you feel... with DD1 I was scheduled for an induction but I also wanted so badly to go into labor on my own.  I ended up going on my own and did not have my doctor there and it all turned out great... either way at the end you will get these 2 amazing babies so there is no right and no wrong! 

    I am a few days behind you and scheduled for next week.  This time I am hoping 100% to make it there just for logistical reasons with care for my 2 year old.  Fingers crossed!
