Do you save your digital pictures/movies?

Do you keep pictures on your hard drive, burn to discs, buy new memory cards or just delete them after you print?  I always used to delete them after I got prints, but now that I have DS I feel like I should burn them to discs too and keep them in the fire-proof safe.  Also, I hate how technology is always changing.  We got a digital camcorder last Christmas and I just transferred all the videos to the computer and now I need to burn them to DVDs, but I wasn't sure if I should keep them on the computer too since DVDs will probably be obsolete some day?  Does this post make me sound like I'm 80 years old?

    We have tons of pics, music and videos.  MH is insane when it comes to digital storage.  We have an external hard drive that we transfer everything from our computers/cameras/phones to.  That drive has a back up that we keep in our safe deposit box at the bank.  I think having an external hard drive is the way to go, they can hold A LOT, are fairly small and it's a technology that should be around for a while.  If not, I'm sure it will be an easy transfer to the next big thing.  I also like it because everything is in one place, not on a bunch of cd's or thumb drives.

    Anasazi, thanks girl!  Good idea!  Unfortunately, MH is more technology-challenged than me so he leaves all this stuff up to me!

    I print the pictures that I want to scrapbook, frame, baby book, etc.

    Every picture gets saved on a hard drive separate from my computer.

    I also buy new memory cards and store the old ones. Yes, I am paranoid about losing my pictures!

    MH and his friends have a set up where their computers back up each other.  MH also stores them on a second hard drive at home.

    This is mostly DH's department, but we save everything! We use an external hard drive that DH keeps in a fire-proof safe under our bed.

    I put them on disc, then store them in the fireproof safe.
