I've been struggling to figure out how to decorate the nursery for our boy/girl twins on the way and I really need to start making some decisions soon. Decorating is not my strength. I was hoping some of you might share what you've done in terms of bedding (even just cute sheets), themes, or paint colors. Links or PIPs would be super awesome if you've got them. Thanks!

Re: Nursery bedding/themes for boy/girl twins
In the end, we did gray walls with navy and lime. We also have some pops of orange in the wall prints and mobiles. I had the bedding made on Etsy, which was more reasonable than many stores. And, I got to pick the prints from a big color palette. Have you browsed Project Nur.sery online? They have some great themes and I definitely stole some ideas from there!

Hi! I'm in the same boat. At our last u/s the technician told us her idea as to what they were. She thinks Baby A a girl and B a boy. We go again Tuesday to confirm. When we first found out we were having twins I knew what the theme would be if it were two girls or two boys but boy/girl is whole other story. I, personally, don't want a uni nursery, I like boy/girl colors. We haven't found anything that we fell in love with but I think we narrowed down our choice to the two links below. If they aren't "clickable" I'm sorry. Not sure how to attach a link. The first is boy and the second girl.

I then found these images on Google. Pottery Barn has bedding sets that are boy/girl. Same designs just the colors are different.

Hope this gives you some ideas. Let me know what you think.

I started planning our nursery when we started seeking fertility treatments, so WAY before we even got pregnant. Had to give myself a project and I am an interior designer.
Our nursery is gray and yellow and I found both flowery prints and men's suit type of prints that look good with each other. It would have worked for either a boy or a girl.
The other color combo I was considering is navy blue and white. I would have given a boy some lime green colors in sheets and decor and the girl would have gotten either dark or light pink colors. All three would have looked good together.
I love the pp's suggestion of orange and aqua. Love those colors together. I also love red and aqua, too.
PAIF and SAIF welcome. IVF questions welcome, too.
I was not really into any "theme" based bedding. We just used this bedding in pink/ brown and blue/ brown

We did brown curtains and a fluffy rug in the nursery. Also, we painted one side of the room blue (where my son's crib is) and the other side of the room pink (where my daughters crib is). I really love it because it's simple!
Good Luck!!

I am not really a theme person, but I guess if we had one, it was alphabet...I used alphabet bedding and valances from migi which is not alphabet except the quilt which I didn't use... I liked the muted colors w our espresso furniture. Walls were a light oatmeal type color. I got a set of alphabet cards from amazon that were really pretty illustrations and in the same type of colors as the bedding and stood them up along a shelf that lined two walls of the nursery about a 18 in from the ceiling, it looked pretty nice i think but very simple. I didn't do much on the walls bc of where the cribs, windows and closet were, but did mount a floating shelf and a book bin from land of nod.
I'm also having b/g twins. I had a really hard time deciding on how to decorate the nursery. I finally went with these designs from PBK. The walls are a light beige and the furniture is white.

I hope to have the nursery finished by next week since I'll be 28 weeks then! I'll try to post pictures after it's all put together.
