Maternity photos ?

If you did or are doing maternity photos, how far along were you when you had them done. I have it scheduled for 29W, and wonder if I am pushing it, or if it is fine. I am doing them because this is most likely my only pregnancy, and they will be nice to show the boys as part of their DE story when we start telling them.

    I love the idea of doing them.  Im not sure when we will.  Probably when I start to feel like Im at the right "size", lol.

    DX: PCOS/Recurrent losses/MTHFR mutation (compound hetero)
    5 hysteroscopies/2 surgical
    3 Inject IUIs = 2 m/c's and 1 BFN
    IVF #1= BFP. m/c at 7w6d. Needed 2 D&C's and scar tissue removal. Mild OHSS
    IVF #2 = BFP. Severe OHSS. 4 Drainings. TWINS!

    I didn't do them, I just didn't feel good about how I looked but now that I can't have any more babies, I wish I would have.  I would say 29 weeks is good, I got really swollen after about 32 so I for sure wouldn't have done it past that! :)  Enjoy them, I'm sure they will be beautiful.

    We did them at 27 weeks and they came out great. I was measuring ahead (37 wks), of course, so I looked bigger than I thought I did...a good represenation of twins. I'd be apprehensive to go passed 30 wks due to the poss of bedrest, etc (although that could happen at any time) and those "baby beauty marks" called stretch marks...which can be removed with editing software but still you want to feel good about your photo shoot.

    ETA: You should be fine at 29 wks Wink

    I did them around 26w3d.  I could have maybe waited til 28 weeks to do them.  I hit a wall around 31 weeks and since then have felt less "glowy" (if i ever felt that way) and more just large.    If you would like to see what it looked like around then PM for the link to my photos.

    It's hard to say cause everyone's body is different but you'll probably be fine @ 29 weeks.  I am short (5'2") and thus smaller torso so, i feel like i looked further along then i was earlier than usual.   they said singletons do it around 32-34 weeks, and at the time i was consistently measuring 6 weeks ahead so i opted to do it around 26 weeks.

    i didn't do engagement photos and regretted it.  i debated about the maternity photos, but i am really glad we did them.

    TTC since October 2010.

    We did ours at 28 weeks and thought it was great. I opted against the bare belly pics though because of stretch marks. Feel free to PM me for a link.

    We didn't do them and I really wish we had! That and professional newborn photos. I think 29w should be OK.

    I did mine at 33.5 weeks. I waited so long because I couldn't decide if I really wanted them or not, but am very happy in retrospect that I did them. I was pretty large, but they turned out great and really show what its like to have a twin belly!  PM me and I'll send you a link...
    Lots of natural cycles, 2 IUIs, and 3 IVFs later, our miracle girl/boy twins were born 08.04.12 at 35w6d. We are in love!

    Ours will be next week, at 24 weeks. Our photographer says she usually does maternity shoots between 2426 weeks.
