Hostess gifts??

Ok, so I had a wonderful shower in October hosted by 2 friends. I feel doubly blessed as I have just learned I'm having another one at work on Thursday...the invitation I saw said hosted 'by friends', so I'm not 100% sure who all is hosting. I'm a first grade teacher, so I presume the rest of the first grade teachers are, but I'm not sure who else, which makes hosts gifts challenging.

So, my question is what do about hostess gifts...I don't know who all if hosting so, do I just wait and ask at the shower? Or should I just ask one of the other teachers this week?

    I would ask the other teachers to find out who is hosting.  Our school has a committee that puts things together like that.  I know for me I would do a different gift for the hostess if it were a committee or just a few close friends.  That way you can start thinking about the gifts.  If it's a big group of people I like the idea of edible gifts from a local bakery.

    At our school, the day after a shower, the bride or mom to be normally brings in baked goods or bagels as a thank you.

    Pier one is my solution for hostess gifts for any event. You will not be let down.
