I am having our baby girls baptism in 2 weeks and I am not sure of a sign in book? I just went to a baptism and they used a bible to sign in but I can't copy... Any suggestions? Thanks in advance
Congratulations (in advance!) & don't worry, you can post pictures anytime! Us July 2012 Mommies LOVE pictures!
As for suggestions, when DH & I were married, I came up with this idea I called "Wedding Wishes". I created these 'cards' (like post cards, kind of) that had our Wedding motif on it & in a small frame, had a sign that read: "Share your warm wishes for the bride & groom!" & then they wrote words of wisdom & placed the cards in this hurricane glass that I had added crystals/ colored stones to & a battery operated candle beneath them to illuminate it & make it sparkle.
Maybe you can have something like that, but instead of having a Wedding theme, have it be a white dove or a cross or something. Maybe have favorite Bible quotes or Psalms or maybe even hymns? Be sure to place at least 2 Bibles & 1 Hymnal beside the cards so multiple people could be filling out cards. You can add a small sign to place by the Bibles that says: "For inspiration..." or something along those lines.
I don't know how many guests will be attending, but in the event that there are, say, 30, make sure you have lots of extra cards. (& pens!) You never know- people make mistakes on their cards & need a new one or they want to make multiple ones. Be sure to have a place on the card for them to write their names, too!

My baby book has a bunch of blank pages at the back. What about using something like that? If its going to be a keepsake anyways, that seems like a convenient place to have it.
