Meganole said there's a great group of girls here, so I thought I'd introduce myself and my boys.
I gave birth to my twin boys Damien and Jace on Oct 25th. They were born at exactly 34 weeks after 11 weeks of bed rest for PTL. I was able to deliver them vaginally with no complications. They both were 4 lbs 10 oz and 17 inches, and they came out crying. 3 hours after their birth, DH and I ventured up to the NICU to see the little guys. When we walked in, Damien was blue and about to be put on CPAP. He thankfully was able to come off after 24 hours. They both struggled with apneas for a week but have since outgrown it. Right now, they are still in heat on the lowest setting. Both are really inconsistent with eating, but Jace seems to be "getting it" more than Damien. I've been able to nurse both of them, and they latch really well but get tired mid-feed.
I'm thankful that our boys are healthy, and I'm hoping that they master their feeding issues soon. It's only been 15 days, and I definitel feel drained commuting back and forth to the hospital everyday. Looking forward to seeing their faces sans feeding tube and holding them without wire restrictions and blinding fluorescent lights.

Thank you! My doctor high-fived me when my water broke in the hospital haha. I am happy to have made it that far and that they are both very healthy.
Thank you to the rest of the ladies also.
