What are my chances of having twins? My father's sister had fraternal twins, but no one else in are huge family has had twins yet. I would like them, what do you think my changes are?
I'm just lurking on this board because my best friend is pregnant with twins, but I was wondering how many times a day you guys get this type of question?

I'm not on this board enough to say for sure. But from what I'd guess about every 3 days (give or take). I think theres another one on the board today though. Sometimes fakers show up too, claiming they have multiples. It's weird, I don't understand why they bother. They usually get called out pretty quickly though.
OP, I have no idea. Maybe ask your doctor, or do a little research online. From what little I do know, genetics aren't a big factor.

Pretty often.
OP, it's really hard to say. Your chances might be slightly increased but not dramatically.

Your father's sister had spontaneous fraternals? Then it's likely same chance as anyone else. Your chances really only increase slightly if your parents are fraternal twins. Identical are random, no genetic ink. They are awesome but not without risk (see my siggy)....
:P don't you people know I check this board late at night? lol. I almost woke my kiddos up from giggling too loudly at your responses
God gave me a double portion for my inheritance with my little Mighty men 9/19/10 Baby A born at 1:47 am 6lbs 14oz, 20.5inches long. Baby B born at 3:20 am 6lbs 6oz, 19.5inches long. My double blessing!:)

My Magic 8 Ball says....Not Likely.
Seriously though, chances are probably slim.
Often. Very very often. lol.

Yams. Doggy style. Full moon.
Fool proof.
Your father's side has nothing to do with your chances of having multiples. Your ovulation patterns are only determined by your mother's side.
Actually, I don't know if that's true. I was thinking of the babies' father's side.
