Feeling So Thankful (update)

On Tuesday night, my 4 month old baby cousin was rushed to the children's hospital when the ER determined he had a life threatening tumor on the back of his brain. On Thursday he had surgery to remove the tumor, which was cancerous, and determined they removed it all!!! We're so happy! He is quite the fighter, and his parents have the most incredible strength I have ever seen. He is in an incredible amount of pain, and on some hefty pain killers, it makes me tear to see him like that.

I was putting DS to sleep, and all I could think about is how lucky am I that I am able to hold and rock my son. Being in the PICU has been heart wrenching, but it has also shown me how thankful I am that I get to hold and play with my son whenever I want. Just wanted to share!

I am glad to hear the surgery went well... it will be a long hard road but it sounds like they have some great family to support them! I will be keeping thoughts and prayers with you and your family!
