Think I need a grabber

So trying to clean and pick up the house from the week and only doing a little bit at a time but I think going on 38 weeks is catching up and I need a "Grabber" to pick up the mess.....the one janitors use to pick up garbage?!?! Lol!!!

  • Oh my god my mom has one! Hahahahaha. I may ask her to borrow it because that would be so much easier! It's a process to pick things up for sure. I had DH help me put on my socks this morning because its just too hard.

  • I saw one at Walmart a couple weeks ago. I joked with BF about buying it and we laughed it off.

    That's the secret. Squat. You can pick up stuff if you squat.

    Squatting helps move baby into your pelvis.

    Squatting helps you keep your pelvic floor intact so you won't pee yourself later on (or not as much). You need to squat as well as do kegels!

    Squatting can be a great way to labor.

    Squatting can save your back after birth while all your joints are still loose. It's easier on your back and you're less likely to throw it out if you tend to have back problems.

    Squatting can also help you poop. Because pooping is like giving birth all over again... even when popping colace like candy and eating prunes all day.

    I totally use DD for this. She likes helping mommy out though, so it's cool.

    DS is my big helper too!  Then, if I just can't get it, apparently according to DH I have monkey feet, so I use them.  :)

    I understand the squat thing and have done it but to be honest I'm tired! Just need a lazier way of picking up!!! Lol!!!
