Hi everyone,
I need all of your input. My inlaws are being so generous for Christmas and wanting to purchase something to tape family videos since we are having our first little one. Most family lives in different states. They suggested a camcorder but I am thinking those are starting to get out of date a little. Any ideas on what we should be looking at? Ipad, stay with just an iPhone, maybe a small flip cam corder? Thanks for all your opinions.

    If you get a camcorder, go with something fully digital and HD. You don't want to deal with tapes. We had a flip camcorder for a while and it was nice, but we didn't use it much. Either we forgot to bring it, it wasn't fully charged, or it ran out of space. It was a bit of a hassle. I currently just take video on the iPhone and they look great. I have the 4s which I think takes full HD video. It's very convenient on the iPhone and I always have it with me. The iPhone has more storage than our flip did too.
