Still super faint...and now..

Hi ladies!

I have a question....I took a wondfo yesterday morning, and again this morning...the one from this morning was maaayyyybeeee a smidge darker than the one from yesterday...and last night I started spotting.

I know, I know...you cant tell me whats going on. However, I am wondering if any of you had a couple days of faint lines and/or spotting?

Trying to stay calm.

::lurker from Jan 2013:: My test was faint because I tested very early and got a very early BFP. I did have spotting which the doctor wrote me off of work for due to a previous loss and wonky betas. Spotting is so hard to tell what is going on this early on because it can be the start of a m/c, an irritated cervix or a SCH (subchoronic hematoma). Mine ended up being a result of the SCH which actually had lots of heavy bleeding as I got further along. Your best bet is to call the doctor's office and see if they will run a blood test to see where your levels are and see if they are rising properly. I really hope it's good news for you!

Is the blood pink, red or brown? Brown = old blood so you will be fine. It could be left over blood from implantation or whatever. Pink could be from an irritated cervix (from sex perhaps?) and you could still be alright, but something to keep an eye on. Red blood could be anything from a hemmerage or a m/c. You can always call your OB/MW's after hours line and speak with a nurse who can better direct you.

I got my BFP 10 DPO and it was super faint, I tested next day and it was the same. 12 dpo it was slightly darker, and then it was the same on 13 dpo. Around 14dpo or 16 dpo there was a nice thick line.

As for spotting, I haven't had any this time around, but I did have some with first pregnancy. I had some pink spotting right around the time I was suppose to get my period, and then some brown spotting 10 days later. I called dr office and they told me not to worry about brown, light pink spotting.But if it's bright red or there is a lot of it to go to ER.

Mine is super faint still- actually I feel like it looks fainter today than the results I got earlier in the week (I'm probably 14 days or 15 days past O at this point). I did have some brown discharge and spotting that started Friday night, went thru yesterday, but is mostly gone today. I'll be giving my doctor a call tomorrow morning to see if they can do a blood test. I'm crossing my fingers for you! I hope we both get to stick around the July board.

I got my first BFP at 10 DPO on Wednesday. That was on a digital, the wondfo was neg. Eventually the wondfo showed a BFP at 12 DPO but it showed BFN at my doctors on a urine test that same day. That was upsetting. Then at 13 DPO the wondfo BFP was a bit darker and at 14 DPO, today, it was quite darker.

My point is, it was a much slower process than I expected for the tests to get darker, but they are. I think I'll stop testing now...

Thank you ladies. I feel a bit better. I did call my doctors advice line and since I also had some right sided pain they brought be into the lab for bloodwork. I have an appointment tomorrow with my obgyn. Hopefully everything is perfectly normal and I'm just one of those super worriers.

Well bright red just started. I called and they said I just have to wait until my blood work comes back and for my appt tomorrow.

I'm crushed. Thinking this might be chemical.

I had some spotting this time around a day or so after I got my first +hpt and it lasted for 2 days. I can't say my own pregnancy is ok yet, because it is still very early, but my betas have continued to rise appropriately. I think spotting is really quite common in many healthy pregnancies when it is very early - often it is related to implantation.

As for the faint lines, if you are using the same brand of test and testing at the same time of day, over several days you should see the line get darker, but if you are very early, it could be a few days before the difference is very noticeable. Wishing you lots of luck.
