Frito's do have a very distinct smell. I can always tell when somebody has been eating them. I LOVE them in my chili though.

they sure do have a distinct smell, but Im cool with them, like Jess, in my chili, or dipped in refried beans...

but out of these two, cheetos would be my go to

  • Love Cheetos but I prefer the regular or chrunchies. If the choice was Cheeto Puffs or Fritos...Fritos would win.

  • No contest Cheetos all the way. I always think my dog smells like Fritos even after I give him a bath. He will smell good for one dayand then right back to that Frito smell.
  • For some reason this isn't a clicky poll on my computer. Anyways...I'd have to say Fritos (chili cheese flavored).

Edit: Never mind...turned clicky when I actually logged in...DUH!

That is usually a sign of a yeast infection either on their skin or in their ears. You would probably notice if he had one on his skin, but if your dog paws at his ears or rubs them on random things, then that's more than likely where it's at.

Seriously? I have never heard of this before! It isn't a strong smell I only smell it when I cuddle him. It is stronger if he has been wrapped in blankets taking a nap. He itches his ears on occassion but nothing so often that I would think something is up. I will give a call to my vet and have him checked out. Thanks for the tip!

  • I voted for Cheetos, but if I can have guacamole or chili, too, then I would prefer Fritos.
  • Very tough one! I went Cheetos, but I it is day where I want lots of salt fritesfrites

Our dog had an ear infection, and they told me that little tip when I brought him in. I swear I don't know random frito smelling dog facts ;)
