DS has always been a horrible napper at daycare. He's in the one year old room now. They all go down together so we almost always get at least an hour (usually a little more). When he was in the infant room, we would be lucky to get more than two 30 minute naps in his crib (the cribs were in a separate area partitioned off from the main infant room). He was too interested in what was going on with the other kids, especially if someone else would wake up and cry. He also was usually pretty perky (not fussy). However, the daycare providers would hold him sometimes to extend his nap if they could to let him sleep longer. Also, the would sometimes let him catnap in the swing, which was nice if he needed a little refresher. I know it's hard. We were extremely frustrated with DS' lack of napping, and it wasn't anyone's fault. We has some very early bed times for a long time. Hang in there, though. It gets better!
They rock babies and try to comfort them if needed. DD is a horrible napper!! Today she had 2 30 min naps and that was it...and that's actually pretty good for her. They just take her out of the crib when she wakes up and try to keep her happy. She is so distracted by watching others that she's pretty happy at daycare anyways. In the very beginning they let her sleep in the bouncer since she hated the crib
