So, I was thinking of ordering a cookies for Santa plate online to have a "first Christmas" keepsake for LO, but then I remembered we have a paint pottery store in our town, so we went and made one! It was so much fun, and actually turned out to be half the price of anything I found online! I highly recommend making one if you have a store like this near you ![]()
Painting the whole thing white first...

Making the "Foot Tree"

The almost finished product. takes 7-10 days to get it back fired in the kiln.

Re: AW: Cookies for Santa plate!
No, I came up with it, but they had a million other examples of how to incorporate a hand or foot into a design. From reindeer to the grinch! They had a cute one that was feet looking like holly and it said "Mistle Toes" . awww.....

That sounds adorable!! You could do 3 different shades of green to make each hand stand out? Jackson will not open his hand, it's in a perma fist, so hand prints were out.
