Annoyed.

So I showed H the divorce settlement and CO paperwork yesterday.  He says he's going to read thru it all when he has some "quiet time" but the what gets me still is the first things he chases down and stews over is the money portion.

  • How much CS am I wanting?
  • Does he get to claim DD on taxes?
  • Why would he have to pay for all her expenses and mine to visit him if he moves more than 150 miles away?

Not a damn thing about how much time he gets her, or the importance of having a say in her upbringing, etc. 

So far he hasn't even seen the part about how SS, SD, MIL and others can't see her unsupervised.  And I'm not pointing it out.  If he can't read the damn papers, then that's his issue. Not mine.  It's still fair, but it protects DD.

Today he left to go find a job in another part of the state.  I'm hoping he'll be gone awhile.  We'll see.  Please God, give me a week of peace. That would be lovely.  And even better...help him find an f-ing job!!!

    just take a deep breath and relax, its not your job to make sure he reads it. if he signs with out reading that his problem. just keep doing whats best for DD and you.

    I could care less if he reads it, it just makes me mad he's obsessing over money and not what's important - like the care of our daughter.  Which is what I thought of first.

    I think its a man thing. My XH was like that. I had custody before we divorced when we divorced he didnt really care that nothing was changing except that his CS was going up because he was making more.
