C/S Mommas...numbness?

Piggybacking off ShelbehhRawrr's post yesterday about itching....how many of you have numbness around the incision area? How long we're you told it would last? My OB made it sound like it was a forever type deal. I hope I interpreted it wrong...I hate the numbness!

    I still have it, though Im SLOWLY starting to get some feeling back to the area. Ive noticed more itching at the incision area than I used to. I've heard some moms it took a couple years to go away.

    I still have numbness and my OB said it could last for 6 months to a year. I wouldn't say the numbness "bothers" me but I definitely notice it.

    mine has always been numb (since ds was born over 4.5 years ago)

    This except 6 1/2 years ago.  It fades, but it never fully goes away.

    Mine is still numb 11 weeks later. My ob said if it doesn't go away by 6 to 9 months it probably won't. My sister still has numbness 18 years after hers.

    I think it depends on the person. I have no numbness, two c/s later. It faded quickly and once the incision fully healed, was gone.
