Job Interview. (sos)

So a couple days ago i got called in for a job interview for an insurance company. They said i had to dress Business Professional. But with me not working, and my situation with DH i dont have the money to buy any new cloths and im kinda freaking out because i have no idea what to wear. i have a dress i could wear, but should i wear stockings? should i wear flats or small pumps? should i wear an over jacket? what about slacks? i have slacks and a top i could do maybe with a over jacket too?

I do have a few days to decide on this, my interview is on the 15th and i would love to be able to look the part with my lovely (but ever growing) bump.

I said, "Oh my, what a marvelous tune" It was the best night, never would forget how we moved. The whole place was dressed to the nines, And we were dancing, dancing Like we're made of starlight Like we're made of starlight. ~TS AlternaTickers - Cool, free Web tickers Lilypie Second Birthday tickers Photobucket

  • I would opt for the dress with hose/stockings and pair it with a jacket. You could also do pants, but it would probably be more obvious that the pants and jacket are separates that have been paired together, rather than being a pants suit. I would try to wear a low pump instead of flats, if it's going to just be one interview.

Business professional usually means suits, but it is acceptable to do a dress with jacket as well.

    Good luck! :)

  • I would wear slacks with a nice top and a blazer with either flats or heels whichever makes you more comfortable.

If money is an issue and you don't have all of that in your closet, check Goodwill, Salvation Army or whatever similar type store you may have in your area.

. Exactly this. Don't do the slacks unless you have the full suit.

  • Business professional is difficult without the suit. I agree with PPs, wear the dress with the blazer and the heels.
