First cold...

I never imagined I'd be such a mess, lol... My poor little guy has his first cold - coughing, sneezing, congestion - the works... I feel so bad for him and wish I could do more to make it go away faster.

I used saline drops and a bulb to clear his nose out last night and this morning, and spent 10 minutes in a steamy bathroom to help clear him up... humidifier has been running since last night.  Luckily no fever, and he's sleeping easily...

I barely got any sleep at all last night because I was up watching him breathe Sad

      It gets better. DD had her first (and still has a little leftover) a week or so ago. Mostly congestion, now we know she HATES the bulb with a passion. Get some rest and have lots of cuddle time. You'll get through it!

    I'm a nurse, so I'm very used to using the bulb syringe for the nose and can I tell you I splurged and got the electric nasal suctioner (I think $29) and the thing is amazing. I'd recommend it for perhaps the next cold (wish there was never a next right?!).

    Dex just got done with antibiotics this week : I hated hearing him sick. I hope your little baby feels better soon.

    We did warm baths she loves.them all the time and nose.freida aka snot sucker hang in there...we are on runny nose two...my only Hope is this means less sick time when she starts daycare!
