swing with good recline position for newborn

Tried LO out in a friend's swing and I don't think I would have felt comfortable leaving him in there for long because it looked like his chin was crammed down into his chest, even though the swing was in recline position.

Any recommendations for a swing that has a recline position that works well for a newborn?

Re: swing with good recline position for newborn

  • We have the Fisher Price Snugabunny Swing and we've used it and borrowed it to friends... it's worked great for 2 newborns. It has a "flat" recline and a more upright position.

We have the older version of this swing. The lower recline is perfect for newborns.

  • I would agree with PPs and go for the snugabunny swing... My sister who has a six weeker  has been using hers and loves it!

+1  we loved ours and lent it to our friend and they rave all about it too.

  • Another vote for the snugabunny. DS always looked very comfortable in it.
