I humbly post this today in hopes you might accept me into this community. Some of you might remember me from TTGP, 3T, then the IF board where I was an active member for quite a while. I've been taking a bump break for a few months since our doomed IVF cycle in August. Back then, despite a grim DOR diagnosis and MFI, DH and I were pursuing IVF and I fit right in on the IF board and was very active. It meant so much to me to be a part of an understanding group of women. Sadly, my IVF failed so massively that I didn't respond to 600iu of stims, most of which were done intramuscularly. I've had a couple of other RE opinions, and its unanimous that there?s no shot at using my OE. We aren't considering donor eggs due to cost and since we are dealing with MFI also, its just too much of a gamble. The only faint glimmer of hope is that we are on a waiting list at our RE for donor embryos. But the program isn't even up and running yet it could be a very long time before it comes to fruition. Investigating other DEmbryo programs at other clinics have all led to dead ends.
The reason I'm asking to join you here is because it meant so much to me to be part of a community where I could support others and find support myself. God knows I need some support right now! I know that I can still post on the IF board today, but when I found out that my ovaries are so horribly defective that OE IVF is not an option for me, I feel like I don't even fit in with most situations over there because I'm not pursuing IVF and really there's no hope for me in doing so. I've watched so many friends on 3T and IF find success with their IVF cycles, (which don't get me wrong, I am elated for them) but it is also so extremely painful at the same time watching friend after friend pass me by on the other boards with no end in sight for me. It's a new level of pain I can't even begin to explain, but I know that many of you understand.
Would this board be an appropriate group to join? I know you ladies are very selective about who posts here, and I don't want to step on any toes. But I would love to start posting again and doing it here if you'll have me. If the answer is no, I understand but thank you for reading this post and considering it.

i "know" you from the DOR checking. Sorry you have to be here. Not sure where you live but Cooper Reproductive in NJ has a Dembryo waiting list that to could check out. Hugs.
Ps: we don't have MFI but our embryos from DE were terrible last week. We are going to have his dna fragmentation tested and if it is bad, we may be in the same position as DE not being an option. It is a tough situation.

Hi and welcome. I'm sorry you are here and wish you all the best moving forward.
I wanted to mention the donor embryo program at California Conceptions
They seem to be getting a lot of publicity lately. They aren't a traditional donor embryo program where couples donate embryos from their cycles. In the California Conceptions program, they create embryos from egg donors and sperm donors and those are used to make embryo profiles. Their success rates are really high from what I can tell.

Sorry you have to be here, but it sounds like this is the perfect place for you to call home. Good luck finding y program that suits your needs. I thought I might also add in that I am doing DE IVF in the Czech republic where it is MUCH more cost effective. They also have VERY reasonable pricing on embryo donation. Please PM me if you have any questions about it. Its a much easier trip than you can imagine.
