Two Under 2

Anyone have this jogging stroller?

Does anyone have the InStep Safari double jogging stroller? If so, would you recommend it? What do you like about it and what do you not like?

If you don't have this one, which one do you have or would you recommend? I don't have a lot of money to spend on one, but don't want a piece of junk either. TIA

Re: Anyone have this jogging stroller?

  • We got this one, and the only thing so far I don't like is the seats are narrow compared to our single jogger.  We do like it because it folds up and will fit in our vehicle better then our single jogger.  Oh I also don't like that ours has bars that go in front of the baskets so I can't put the diaper bag down there.  My diaper bag has special clips so I can snap it to the bars behind their seats.

Baby isn't here yet so we only use it on our property with our 19m old.

  • I just posted this on my bmb yesterday - hope it helps you.....I can recommend the Babytrend Navigator double jogger. We got it a couple days ago. It is amazing. It works - get this - with one carseat and one kid sitting in the main seat - no balance problems at all. Yes, it is heavy and hard to move in and out of a car, but it is doable (and all doubles will likely have the same problem.), but it is such a smooth ride! We took Shadow out into the woods a few times now and it was even ok in sand. Hugh basket underneath, it reclines separately, the canopies are separate, it can even lay flat when reclining.  And it turned on a dime.

I haven't gone to a mall with it yet - for that I use my sit n stand - so I cannot say if it fits well through doorways. I know it works at st grocery stores (even though the cashes don't work, you have to take the one for wheelchairs). Anyways, I just thought I'd share. Oh yeah, and I got it delivered for a grand total of 205,- after taxes. USD, not CAN. Had to have it delivered to a friend who then brought it over the boarder. Seems like Canada doesn't allow it here - like rock n plays. But yeah.....awesome!
