Diarrhea?

So, I called the advice nurse about this yesterday because LO seems to be having some watery/more loose than before stools. From what I read online if it was diarrhea she would be having more frequent bowel movements, but today she has only had 2 dirty diapers, and 5 wet ones. I am not sure if this is just the paranoid first-time mom coming out, or if I should really be concerned. She is still eating and sleeping fine.

She gets formula and breast milk, we have been using the same formula since she was about 4 days old. The advice nurse said to just watch and wait since I have been having diarrhea as well, they think she could have gotten a virus from me, but told me to keep giving her breast milk, but again, I am scared to give her breast milk if I am the reason she is having diarrhea, if it would be considered diarrhea. Any advice?

    Doesn't sound like diarrhea to me. Sounds like she is just well hydrated. Keep giving BM because if the two of you are sick then you will pass on the ablity to fight the illness.
