Any other 37+ weekers?

I'm 37 weeks tomorrow and I couldn't be more thrilled that I made it this far. But, as you can probably imagine, I'm feeling exhausted.. irritable uterus.. contractions.. horrible back pain.. you get the picture.

Are there any other 37+ weekers that are still hanging on? If so, please commiserate with me. Do you have an induction date yet?

Only 9 weeks but you're my hero. I pray every day that I can make it that long. Did you have to go on bed rest at all?

My doctor suggested that I rest as much as possible beginning at 36w2d (this past Monday which is when I saw him for an appointment). Up until then, I was working. I'm so glad I listened because I think that's helped me make it to 37 weeks at this point.

36/5 over here. MFM wants to see me on Monday to check my cervix. If things are favorable he is open to inducing at the end of next week, though he generally likes to wait until 38 weeks. I'm inclined to wait it out but we'll see - it's getting pretty impossible to function at all with 12+ pounds of baby in me. As miserable as I am, I feel very fortunate to have made it this far.

So no...I'm not a 37+ weeker but you're my hero, also! Anyone who makes it that far is...I can only hope and pray to make it to 37/38 wks! Strong work and thanks for the inspiration Smile

I'm almost at 36 weeks and can't believe I've made it this far. I'm still working and my dr said I'm one of the easiest and healthiest twin pregnancies she has ever had. She is planning on inducing or scheduling a c/s at 38 wks if i make it that far. Good luck ladies!

I made it to 37w3d, which was my scheduled c section date.

Hang in there! It is so hard at the end but it is all worth it. And you will feel so much better after delivery.

This was nearly 2 year ago but... I made it to 37w4d. I was scheduled to be induced but my water broke at 2a that morning. Good Luck! And take LOTS of pictures your first year it goes by so fast it makes me want to cry just thinking about it...despite being sleep deprived for the first 9 months!!

I'm 37w1d today! Still in shock I made it this far. Yah, I'm tired and feel huge. Kinda sick of going to the dr all the time too. But I guess the end is near. I don't have an induction date as of yet...

I'm close, so I'm gonna count myself! They have me on bed rest since I've had some signs of pre-e, but I worked up until Tuesday. My cervix is like Fort Knox, and I don't think these boys are going to be making an arrival on their own terms, but my induction is on Thursday, so I don't have too long to wait! Hope things get easier and you get to meet your healthy LOs soon!

I made it to 38 weeks and was induced that day. My doctor would have let me go to 39 weeks but he was also happy to induce at 38 weeks, and while initially I thought I would let myself go as long as my body could do it, when I got to 37 weeks every day was a struggle. Having that date set really made it more bearable. I can still remember how I felt, and I commiserate with you in spirit. Always having to pee, fetal movements so strong they were painful, never really feeling like I could get a deep breath, so tired but not able to sleep...yeah, it's no fun. But when those babies are born fully cooked, no NICU time and come straight home with you, it will all be worth it!!!

I made it to my scheduled c/s at 38 weeks 1 day with no signs of labor. Congrats!

I am 36 weeks today. But I feel like you do. My C-Section is scheduled for 11/29 but I am wondering if I will get that far. Although listening to you... I probably will. Congrats!

I made it to 38w6d before my water broke. Just grocery shopping at that point left me exhausted, but mentally I felt great. It's a big deal to carry your babies so long!
