That's pretty funny, not what I was expecting to read though!
I personally have always liked the name Cherri (pronounced like the fruit though...) for a girl... although I would never be brave enough to use it for one of my own kids.
Proud babywearing, breastfeeding, vaccinating SAHM of 2U2!
Love Karleigh and spelled that way - sure wish my grandmas could call me to suggest names instead of naming my twin girls after them...
Raising 2 amazing step-sons while ttc since 2006. Moved to adoption 11/2011 with one more IVF attempt to go...YEA! 2 healthy heartbeats May 2012! My girls have arrived!
DH'S grandma suggested Elizabeth (her name) and Theresa with the nn Terri. Both nice choices excluding the nn Terri. My dad likes Kaylee, too, so I understand the confusion :S
Do you think she was trying hard to be trendy for her granddaughter/g-granddaughter or do you think she really likes those names? I know they say we always think the 2 generations before us had awful taste but the 3rd generation back we think had good names.

Lol
My grandma suggested Sarah, which I happen to love, but it doesn't sound good with our last name.
Lol, she said Carly, and I like that name too, but DH has already vetoed it.
The she said "Spelled "K-A-R-L-E-I-G-H"
I think my face went like this:
I was expecting Mary or Alice or Elizabeth from her!
