hi! New here! Question about test taking.

hi ladies!

New here to this site! 

My husband and I have been trying to conceive. Question: I think I had implantation bleeding a couple days ago {light pink smears mixed with mucus} & i have still had a little for the last couple days. Period is due on Sunday. 

How long should I wait to test? && does implantation bleeding sometimes last that many days?

    Implantation bleeding is very rare.

    How long is your LP?    Implantation happens, on average, between 7 - 10 dpo (that's "days past ovulation").

    you've had this for a "couple days"?  so like since Wednesday?   And your AF is due Sunday?    Lets say you have an average-ish 13 day LP.    Eh, it could be.   You wont know until you get a positive test.

    For the record, the ONLY cycle I saw what I thought/hoped was IB, wasn't.

    You might just have spotting. 

    You could test any time. Just keep testing until you get your period or a +.

    My advice:  wait as long as you can stand before testing.  If you test too early you'll just waste a test and disappoint yourself.

    I've been pregnant twice and neither time has implantation bleeding.

    I may be rare but I charted with des and I did have implantation bleeding.  I would however wait as long as possible too.
