uppababy mesa infant car seat

I just learned there is a car seat that will be available in march 2013 that snaps right into the uppababy vista and looks really snazzy!  I'm due end of April.  Should I order the infant car seat, or do you think that's pushing it too close to due date? If I don't get this car seat, I think I'll go with the Chicco keyfit 30. What would you do?

    That might be cutting it close.

    It does look like a great seat but the little voice inside my head is scared of the first year of a carseat. They are safety certified just like others but it is just like buying a first year model of a car.. Things get found and adjusted the next year. I think they are fairly high priced if I remember correctly.. So much that you could purchase the keyfit and adapter bar and still be ahead price wise.

    My dd was 3 weeks early. We had literally just put the carseat in 3 days before she came. It would be horrible if they were running behind in shipment or something and it wasn't there in time.

    Eta: we love love love our vista it is awesome as a snap and go and full stroller!

    Buy it and then if you don't have it by mid to late march, you can always cancel it and put the money to the chicco. any boutique would let you do that.
