Referral For Doctor/Therapist

Hi Ladies,  

I'm wondering if any of you could recommend a doctor, therapist, counselor, etc.  I'm 32 weeks pregnant and experiencing horrible depression.  It's to the point that I'm not sure if I want to keep my baby.

I know that this is a postpartum depression group but thought I'd give it a shot.

    Hi,
    Your OB might be able to give you a referral. Mine was a selfreferral; I just called the Behavioral Health department of the medical group I use.

    Call your OB right away!!  They can refer you to a dr or therapist to help you finish out your pregnancy.  Keep in mind a dr may even want to put you on meds...of course they will tell you they are not 100% safe..and they aren't, but in order for you to be healthy and finish your pregnancy you need to be mentally healthy first.  Lots of women have to use meds while preggo...you gotta do what you gotta do.
