UPDATE:How did ur LOs crib transition go

Tell me about ur LOs crib transition from RnP! We are thinking about trying it this weekend before I go back to work plus DD is getting long for her RnP. I'm nervous that its not going to go well since naps fail in her cribalthough she isn't a great napper but sleeps excellent at night, 10 to 12 hrs straight. Right now we don't swaddle since I wouldn't be able to buckle her in the RnP but we have swaddled before and she doesn't seem to mind either way. I have her sleeping in warm fleece sleepers right nowcold in pa and I also have fleece sleep sacks. I think swaddling her in those would be way to warm for her but the fleece sleepers alone seem to keep her a great temp. I dont want her to be to warm obviously but thought swaddling her woukd help her feel more like being in her RnP. I'm not exactly sure why she doesn't like sleeping flat except possible silent reflux and if the crib would make her uncomfortable or she just doesn't like it. Any advice or tips would be appreciated. If we don't try this weekend then we will probably wait till the new year if she still fits in her RnP by then.
Update:Well here it goes! I just laid her down in her crib for the night. I put her in a fleece sleep sack because I don't normally swaddle her and don't want her to be to warm with a sleeper and swaddled. Right now she laying there kicking so we will see how the night goes, wish me luck! Lol

We did swaddle, and it was about 3 nights from hell. I actually ended up sleeping on the floor bc she was up every 1-2 hrs. We didn't know it at the time, but she had silent reflux so if I could do it again, I would elevate one side of her crib a bit. You just gotta hang in there. It will probably be tough for a few nights, but she'll get it.

I did it last night for the first time and had no problems. I had one side elevated a bit because he is pretty stuffed up, plus he was swaddled very tightly. I also had those crib wedges that he slept between so that it felt like he was close to something (not sure if that made a difference or not!).

He slept his normal 4.5 hours the first stretch and then 3 hr stretches after that. Hopefully this one night wasn't a fluke and he will do it again tonight!

I am struggling with this big time. We started the transition a few days ago and the first night he did great! He slept for 4hr spans but since then I'm lucky if he makes it 2hrs without waking up. I haven't been swaddling but I'm thinking of trying that tonight. He's kicking and punching so much in his sleep that I think he is waking himself up. I was up with him four times last night and this morning I caved and put him in the RnP around 6:30am just so I could get some sleep and he slept until 10:30.
