sleeping.....

So, my son is usually a good sleeper, and will go to bed at 8, and wake up about 6.....

BUT, he will only sleep in his crib sometimes, and still sleeps in his rock n play in his room. The past two nights, though, he has woken up at 1or 2 and won't go back to bed for at least an hour, and the only place he will go back to sleep is the swing.

 He is too old for this, right?

Anyone else's baby still NOT consistently sleeping in the crib? 

 Also- we were JUST now able to drop the swaddle 2-3 weeks ago, and that is when the no crib sleeping started. This whole 'not sleeping in the rock n play' is new.

    As long as he is safely sleeping and you are comfortable with the arrangements,  I don't see a problem!

    My LO has not slept for longer than a 4 hour stretch ever....this is no joke.  I've tried almost everything and she just doesn't stay asleep.  

    I say as long as he is safe, do what works for now.

    My lo is still up 25 times a night but he's hungry when he wakes so I feed him and put him down.
    I do recommend trying for the crib or when lo is too big you'll have an even harder transition.
