Allie heard herself whisper and hum for the first time to night. It scared this *** out of her. I laughed and cried. I think it is safe to say, surgery was a successful. I may have all my eggs in the basket too soon, but I am pretty happy!

Aww! Cute! My daughter just learned how to growl like the exorcist, so that is awesome...LoL.

May I ask? What surgery? Was she hearing-impaired?

Not completely impaired. Slight loss of hearing. She couldn't hear low noises. If we whispered or something was low pitched she couldn't/can't hear it. She had large amounts of scar tissue on her left ear drum, due to several infections.

That is so great! I am so glad we live in this day and age that there are so many ways we can help our hildren with todays technology for our children, you know? I am so happy for you guys!
