Anyone have a copy of Medications and Mothers' Milk by Hale?
I'm having a deep mole removed and will have local anesthia (Lidocaine). Initally the dermatologist PA said it was ok. But the sergeon told me to wait 4-6 hours before nursing.
I'm pretty sure Lidocaine is what they used to stitch me up after delivery. And DD nursed right away. So I think its fine. Maybe the sergeon is being conservative>
TIA

Got pregnant on our own without Fertility Treatments - January 2016! Thank you snow storm Jonas!
EDD 10/15/16
At 20-week anatomy scan found IUGR (Intrauterine Growth Restriction), and very low Amniotic Fluid. Now, I'm High Risk and have weekly ultrasounds to monitor fluid and growth. If baby runs out of room or is too growth restricted, they will deliver ASAP. My current goal is to make it to 28 weeks!

Thanks! I also found a referance on Kellymom.com to "Medications and Mother's Milk" that listed out some of the more common medications, including Lidocaine. It appears to be "safer". So I'm not too worried. Seems like the sergeon was erring on the side of caution.
