Elfster "Pen-Pal Style" to be determined by the number of participants

"Pen-pal style" got more votes but, Lcass asked what happens if we have an odd number of participants. 

I emailed Elfter and it sounds like I don't get a name then.Crying

This may seem selfish but if we don't get an even amount,  I would like to draw names the old way.  You guys down with that?

    I'm down with whatever works for the majority. I'm one of the ones that didn't receive my last elfster gift but whatever... hopefully someone else will get me! Stick out tongue

    Whatever way works best for everyone is fine by me. We will just have to have a public flogging for those individuals that don't send their gifts (hopefully there won't be anyone who does this).

    Say we have 24 or 26 or 28 people participating that is fine. but if have say 25 or 23 or 27 people than Elfster will not let me (the organizer) particiapate because we need an even number of participants.  What I'm asking is that if we get an odd number of participants can we do the old style of exchanging names so I don't get excluded?

    I could go either way. Who would be enough of a douche to not send their elfster gift, after all the time we've "known" each other here? And it's not like we are letting randoms sign up. Anyway, lets see how many people sign up, and if it's an odd number, can we petition for one more person? Not sure if that would be possible, but maybe we won't have anything to even worry about, kwim?

    Could we do it the pen pal style and then just pick a pair of pen pals and add you to them? Is that a possibility? I don't know how Elfster really works so maybe that's not doable. I definitely think you need to be a part of it though so I'm down for whatever :D
