I laughed. These people are ridiculous. I was at the grocery store the other day and the man in the checkout lane next to me was asked "how are you?" by the checkout lady. He replied with "not great after that election! I'm pissed off. I'm really pissed off actually." I literally turned around and looked at him and laughed. She didnt even mention the election, I'm sure she didn't want to hear him whine. Though I'm in a red state so she probably agreed. It's just ridiculous though.

Essentially, people with low income are provided cell phones with minimal minutes (like trac phones) thanks to a federal program that's been in place since the 1980s. But of course people jumped on it thinking Obama passed this legislation to give poor people free phones with their hard-earned tax money.

LOL! Love the one where the young woman claims she's moving to Australia because the President is Christian and stands behind what he believes. Ummm, the Prime Minister of Australia is an atheist woman.

Also love that they are threatening to flee to Canada. Because Canadians would never allow Universal health care, gay marriage, or marijuana use. Oh wait...

And PP. An "Obama phone" is a limited use cell phone given to people who have very low incomes. It has very few minutes per month and is enough to get in touch with your social worker (to, you know, get a job and move off the plan) and 911. They have given phones to the poor for years for safety reasons but switched from land lines to cell phones (because limited use cell plans are actually cheaper) and people are up in arms about it.
