Recomend a jogging stroller please!

Hey ladies, I was just curious if any of you have used a jogging stroller and could recommend a good one that doesn't shake while running? I'm not pg but seriously trying to get into shape now that LO is six months old.

I just bought a Graco Trekko. I love it but what I don't love is one of the most important parts of running, having a stroller with a front wheel that doesn't shake like an earthquake when I run. It's horrible and I just took it out for the first time today.

  • The BOB Ironman has a fixed front wheel and is fantastic for running at all speeds.  I recommend looking for a used one on Craigslist.

  • Does your stroller have a locking option on the front wheel?

Our double jogger can be a swivel for walking or locked for running.  I just sold my 7 year old single jogger because it did not have a locking option.  I bought a used single jogger without a swivel wheel.  It is a bit of a pain for walking, but I bet we only use it another year or two anyway.

  • I don't like fixed wheel, because you have to lift the front wheel up to turn. My friend is used to hers, and says it's a shoulder work out all in one, but I am not into it.

My Joovy zoon 360 shakes in swivel mode when you go over bumps and sticks, too. It's really annoying. Also, the front wheel goes into locking mode when you back up. Annoying.

I bought a Bob Revolution Duallie from Craigslist, and it is easier to manage than my single!! It never shakes even though it has a swivel wheel. Really worth it. Can't wait to have two kids to put in it. :)

  • I have the BOB Ironman with a fixed front wheel and love it. It's not as convenient as the Revolution for just walking but I haven't found it to be difficult to use. I would HIGHLY recommend that no matter what you get you keep the front wheel locked when running. I've seen strollers almost tip over when people were running the the front wheel suddenly veers to one side.
