Mom Fail: She rolled off the couch

L isn't rolling or crawling yet, so when I've sat her on the couch while I futz with my diaper bag or grab her coat (all in the same room), it hasn't been a problem. If I leave the room really fast, I put her in her walker and she plays with the toys. So she's sitting on the couch today while I grab her coat when I hear THWACK! I turn around and she's one her back on the floor screaming. I wanted (and still want) to effing die. I thanked God five million times that she wasn't seriously hurt and that she didn't land on her head or hit the coffee table on the way down. It's true what they say. It only takes a second for something bad to happen to a baby. Lesson learned.

This happened yesterday with DS! I know how you feel and no worries. These things are going to happen sooner or later unfortunately.

Joshua rolled off the bed the other night- you really do feel horrible, but thank God they bounce!!! Glad she's okay!

One of my girls fell off the couch a few days ago. I felt like the worst person alive! Thank god she was fine, just startled. Now I'm ever so careful with them, it was only a split second..
