I am having a hard time finding a non-puffy, but warm enough for outside coat for this winter. I have always had luck at Old Navy with their Peacoat style coats. Unfortunately, I am not having any luck anywhere this year. Any suggestions? TIA
We got DD a Lands End coat. Really, really warm but not "puffy" or bulky. Although, it would still be way too bulky if you were looking for a coat to be worn in the car seat. We just throw it on her when we get where we are going.
We got DS a North Face this winter. They have anything from lightweight fleeces to heavier jackets.
Which North Face did you get? The Denali? She has a lightweight on from them an she loves it. We don't have a North Face store anywhere near us, so I will have to buy online.

We ended up not going with the Denali because it wasn't heavy enough for the snow/inclement weather. This is the link: https://www.thenorthface.com/catalog/sc-gear/boys-jackets-vests/boys-39-reversible-true-or-false-jacket.html?from=subCat
It looks bulkier in the picture than it is. It really isn't that bulky at all. It fits nicely to his body.
