Mucus TMI

This is weird. I went to the doc on Monday=membranes stripped, cramped a little that night. Tuesday=had a BM and a huge glob of mucus (no blood) came out. I thought "wow! THIS is what a mucus plug is!" then yesterday I had a BM again and another huge glob came out. I was confused so I called and told my Dr's nurse and she just said it was normal for mucus to come out, especially when pushing for a BM. I had not had this happen with DD1 so I expected labor to start LOL but was told that this was no indicator of labor. crap. Anyone else have this happen?

    This exact same thing has been happening to me all week!  I REALLY hope it means we are close, but apparently it's no indicator of impending labor :-(

    Ive had the same thing. Sometimes even when i pee! I was hoping it was part of effacement/shedding mucous plug. Very dissappointing to know that its no indication of impending labor lol
