Back from the hospital (Abby related)

Long story short, Abby had a fever starting on Sunday evening and eventually it got up to 103 on Monday and 104 on Tuesday, even with giving her Tylenol and Motrin. We landed ourselves in the hospital Tuesday afternoon to get fluids and run a bunch of labwork. Her fever broke early this morning and has been fever-free and been eating well all day, so we came home. After all the lab work, it basically all came back normal (including her white blood cell count), so they think it was just a random virus that needed to run it's course. So far in her life, she's been hospitalized every time she's been sick. I hope this trend doesn't continue!

Wow - glad she is ok! Gavin had a fever of 104 on Sunday night, I called our pedi hotline and they didn't seem overly concerned! It was definitely scary though, so I get it. Take care Abby!!! And hope you can both get some rest.

Thanks girls! Abby slept like crap last night, but still doesn't have a fever, so she's back at daycare and I'm back at work - yay for a 2 day work week! :oP

I'm pretty sure Abby is the toughest little girl around. Poor thing, I'm glad it was nothing too serious and it cleared on its own, but that must've been stressful. Glad to hear she is feeling better. :-)
