What is your secret to managing through the holidays as an IFV? Knowing when to say no to an event or gathering that will land me angry or sad - or both!
Do you prefer turkeys or goblins (Thanksgiving or Halloween)? I love all things FALL!
What is your best or worst holiday moment with your IL's? Our first hosted holiday as a married couple. My husbands parents are divorced and we had both sides of his family. It was a little awkward and we won't do that again!
Do you prefer to host a gathering or rather to be hosted? I love to throw a party so I am host at heart, but I like to relax on a holiday so I don't jump at hosting a major holiday.
Do you prefer spring forward or fall back (Day Light Savings)? They each have their benefits!

I enjoy the festivities and the drinks! For some reason the alcohol makes me feel better :]

Do you prefer spring forward or fall back Day Light Savings? Spring forward! I love the long days and when it gets dark really late!

What is your secret to managing through the holidays as an IFV? Holidays are ugly. MH hates the holidays for reasons other then IF (family not getting along) and then you combine that with the dwindling number of family members. I could do without holidays altogether.

What is your best or worst holiday moment with your IL's? One year my SIL through a Haunted Walk through my MIL's front yard. We all pitched in and helped and had a great time. Everyone thought it was better then the paid haunted house in town. Worst...MIL, SIL and her family came to stay with us the day before New Years and stayed until Jan 7th. In 8 days they left the house once.

What is your favorite Thanksgiving Dish : Probably pumpkin pie, but I also LOVE to mix cranberry sauce with stuffing and mashed taters
What is your secret to managing through the holidays as an IFV? No secret, no magic wands or potions...DH lets me cry, get angry, etc..But, I do try and remind myself to be thankful for what I do have : an awesome husband, a roof over my head, food in the fridge, a good job and our furbaby Minnie.

What is your best or worst holiday moment with your IL's? I think I fall into the "exceptions" category. I have the greatest IL's. I just enjoy being around them, they are very *low key*, the holidays are always relaxing / stress free at the IL's!!! One great memory I have : It was Christmas and I was sitting on the sofa at my mother in laws with my feet up and DH was next to me. Out of nowhere MIL asks "Do you wear thongs?"..DH turned beat RED!!! I was like.. "uhhh"..and then I noticed she was looking at my feet
. I have a trade mark mole between my big toe and first toe...she thought I wore thong type shoes that rubbed a sore between my toes 
.. everyone got a good laugh!
Do you prefer to host a gathering or rather to be hosted? I prefer hosting. I really, really enjoy baking / cooking and that gives me the opportunity to show off my new skills in the kitchen!

What is your secret to managing through the holidays as an IFV? Honestly, I want to avoid them this year. Wine helps and I do enjoy giving presents to my family.

What is your best or worst holiday moment with your IL's? Nothing really sticks out. DH and I have only been married for 2 yrs so holidays with the ILs haven't been for long.
Do you prefer to host a gathering or rather to be hosted? We have hosted Thanksgiving the past 2 yrs but I didnt want to do this this year because I was afraid I would not be in mood if the DE cycle is a bust. I also, stupidly thought that I might be too tired to do all the prep work if DE worked... We are going to BIL's instead. Since DH and I don't have kids, it seems like we are always expected to travel to everyone else for holidays which isn't fair.

We've avoided being here for T-day 4 years in a row; we'll be in Montreal this year. And I'll likely get to use IVF as an excuse this year to avoid Christmas: "Oh, I have to go home & do an injection" or "Sorry, I'll be on post-transfer bed rest."

What is your favorite Thanksgiving dish? - Stuffing
What is your secret to managing through the holidays as an IFV? Hrm. Luckily I don't have any family that I come into contact with who have LO's - so it's been ok. Last year T-giving was the EDD of one of our lost beans, so that's hard - but it's going to be easier this year.
Do you prefer turkeys or goblins (Thanksgiving or Halloween)? I love Halloween because I like parties and costumes and "art directing" our house - I love T-giving because of the family, quiet time and coziness.
What is your best or worst holiday moment with your IL's? 2 years ago my MIL and FIL (they're divorced but pals) decided a 2 days before to not attend t-giving (which is at my parents' house and has been for years). Our family is very drama-free and this was so lame and their reasons were so ridiculous. Luckily DH stepped in and talked them out of it by pointing out how petty and silly they were being.
Do you prefer to host a gathering or rather to be hosted? I'd rather be hosted and participate in some way (bringing a dish, helping with set-up or clean-up) but I like the "control" of hosting.

Phone consult with CCRM on 12/12/12 - ODWU 1/4/13 - both tubes clear(!) - AFC 24, AMH 3.2, FSH 9.6, LH 5.4, E2 25. DH has high frag rate but improved!
