Hi ladies. I'm knew here and am looking for support. I'm a gestational surrogate for a same sex couple and did our frist IVF attemp last Tuesday. I'm 8dp5dt. Like most people, I started testing around day 4 or 5. I even tested last night on day 7 and have been getting BFN. Crying Tomorrow is my beta and I'm freaking out! We transfered two grade A embroys. I've heard of people not getting a BFP until later. Can anyone give me advise on this? Starting over with a donor, waiting for my period and more meds seems exhausting, I'm holding on to any hope I can... I'm so upset to let the guys down and I'm hoping my beta isn't negative tomorrow. HELP!

    I was just talking to my friend who said she tested negative until 14 dpo. There's still hope! Awesome that you are doing that. Good Luck!
    Iui #1 = unmedicated = bfn. Iui # 2 = clomid 50 mg = bfn. Iui # 3 = clomid 50 mg = bfn. Iui # 4 = unmedicated = bfn. Iui # 5 = unmedicated = bfp - miscarriage at 5 wks. Iui #6 = nov 2012 = gonal f 75, endotrim 100= chemical pregnancy/bfn

    I have zero insight but I just wanted to say that I think it's so sweet that you care that much about the dads' feelings. I really doubt they see it as you letting them down - you are doing such a selfless thing for them!

    I'm surprised to hear that your beta is 9dp5dt.  Ours was like a year and a half ago now since our IVF cycle, but I swear it wasn't until like 12dp5dt.

    My beta is 14 days after ER, which is 9dp5dt.  Based on the posts I've read on the IF board, I'd say that's pretty typical.

    OP, you're doing a great thing and I hope it works out.  A lot of women do get BFPs by this point, but I wouldn't rule anything out until you get that call with your beta.  You'll know today, either way!

    FET #2: 1 blast transferred 10/25; BFP 10/31!

    Thanks so much for the comments all! I went in for my beta this am, i'm a nervous wreck. I genuinely want this for the guys. I feel like i'm letting them down, they were so excited last week when we transfered. I can't bare the thought of BFN. Crying
