Midwives/home birth options in western MD?

Hi we're new to the area and I was wondering if anyone had any natural birth resources to recommend! I loved the home birth we had in northern Virginia and I'm nervous about finding something similar here. If anyone has any good experiences or recommendations please let me know! :D

    Currently there is a bit of a legal mess going on in MD for  CPMs.  There is a grassroots group, Maryland Families for Safe Birth, who will be introducing legislation in 2013 to try and creat licensure for CPMs in MD.  There is currently a petition up online to support this legislation:

    I'm really hoping legislation passes in MD so that maybe DE will see more reason to follow suit.  Right now we only have on legal CPM and she is only allowed to serve the Amish and Mennonite communities of DE.
