LO in hospital Updates

Adrienne is having surgery on her heart tomorrow. Please keep her in your thoughts and prayers. What we thought was just a cold was actually a PDA which is an open vessel that should have closed off when she was born. It is causing her heart to work harder and excess blood flow to her lungs. The surgery is to close the vessel with a titanium clip. She also has an ASD.. small hole in a wall of her heart. The doctor said the ASD might close up a bit after the surgery to close the PDA. Originally the hospital said they would try meds and nutrition but shes been a week at the hospital and she's losing weight still and not getting better so now the surgery is the way to go. The surgeru is at 7:30 am est tomorrow nov 8.
