How long have you been with your DH/FI/SO/BF? Together for 6.5 years, married for 3.5 years.
Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? Surprise.
What worries you the most about being a parent? Teaching them to be good people. I feel like there are so many bad influences out there! I want to make sure I teach my children to be strong and respectful, but I feel like it will be hard with all the hateful people out there.
What are you most excited to experience with having a child? The bonding. I am so excited to create a solid relationship with my child.
Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I know I want to try to BF, but will be okay if I need to FF. I would love to cloth diaper if I can swing it. I have no problem with people FF or using disposables.
Do you have names picked out yet? No.
Do you have fur babies? If so, how spoiled are they? One cat. He is fairly spoiled.

Favorite color? Grey. I'm told that's not a color, but I don't care. I love it. You can put any color with grey and it looks awesome.
What's something you'd like to get this holiday season? Hm. I don't know. There's not anything I'm really yearning for.How long have you been with your DH/FI/SO/BF? 4 years+
Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? Very planned, been doing IF treatment
What worries you the most about being a parent? Right now I am worried about just getting through small steps in the pregnancy. When LO comes out, I'm just hoping we do enough that he/she is happy, healthy, and productive - whatever that may be.
What are you most excited to experience with having a child? Travel, DH and I love it and love experiencing new places and new cultures
Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) BF and cloth diapering, but I believe it's totally a personal choice

Do you have fur babies? If so, how spoiled are they? One dog, Simon. Had him 12 years - he sleeps in the bed and is completely spoiled.

The things I want most are Kindle Paperwhite, a new bedframe, a new phone, and a DSLR camera.
How long have you been with your DH/FI/SO/BF? DH and I have been together for 5 1/2 years and married for 1 1/2 years.
Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? This was planned!
What worries you the most about being a parent? I know I won't do everything perfect, but I just want to make my child feel loved, safe, and happy.
What are you most excited to experience with having a child? Everything! I'm so excited to experience pregnancy and to be doing this with my wonderful husband. I can't wait to be a mom!
Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I want to BF and I want to try clothe diapers and see if we can make that a routine. I am also very much into making your own baby food.
Do you have names picked out yet? We think so but we want to see this baby before we settle on anything.

What worries you the most about being a parent? Money of course

Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I'm going to be a FF (I have eczema on my nips so they already bleed and crack and BF would be extraorindarily painful for me), disposables more than likely but I've yet to weigh pros and cons.
Do you have names picked out yet? Mason for boy, Piper or Emma for a girl. Still working on middle names.

How long have you been with your DH/FI/SO/BF? My husband and I have been married for just over a year, we were married July 30, 2011.
Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? Our pregnancy was planned, we have been trying for a while, about 6 months, and I learned patience in that time.What worries you the most about being a parent? Well, I live in a little ways away from my mom and my mother in law, I wish I could just know all the tips and tricks they know to raising children. I am going to have to find my own ways that work, I just hope I get it right the first few tries :)What are you most excited to experience with having a child? I am truly the most excited about seeing my husband bond with the baby, He is so loving and so excited, I know he will love his child unconditionally and I am so excited to watch them grow together. Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I have always wanted to try cloth diapers but I am not totally for sure yet, and with the breastfeeding.... I want to because I don't want my boobs to stay huge! But the thought of breast feeding doesn't really make me comfortable. I guess I will have to talk to more moms about it.

Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? Planned - it was our 4th ttc cycle
What worries you the most about being a parent? My excitement triumphs my worries at this point, but I do worry about making sure we can financially provide for our children the way that our parents were able to do for us.
What are you most excited to experience with having a child? Everything. I think it's natural to focus on the infant stage right now, so holding, feeding, and sleeping with baby. Also, seeing my DH as a father.
Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) Nope, too early for this - I will think about these things once I'm safely into 2nd trimester.
Do you have names picked out yet? No, I have some girl names I like but nothing is decided.

What's something you'd like to get this holiday season? A healthy pregnancy (cheesy, I know). Other than that, I'm mostly just excited about announcing our pregnancy to our family during Christmas. Wouldn't mind a nice pair of boots too!

How long have you been with your DH/FI/SO/BF? We've been together for 6 1/2 years; married for just over a year.
Was this a surprise or planned pregnancy? A little bit of both. I had gone off bc, and we were "trying", but I expected more difficulty based on my mother's fertility issues. So it was planned, but we were suprised by how quickly it happened (month 2)!
What worries you the most about being a parent? I am most concerned with the financial side of things. We will be fine, but it will be an adjustment, and DH is already crazy "frugal" so he is in panic mode right now. He also has this weird viewpoint of "I didn't have this growing up, and our kid doesn't need that either." I think it's weird b/c most people want more for their kids than they had, and he seems determined to hold them back. I hope he changes when the baby comes, it's weird. As for me, I want to make sure I'm as creative as possible and DO stuff with my kids. This will be hard b/c I'm NOT crafty. I'm worried I will run out of ways to entertain them.
What are you most excited to experience with having a child? The reality that DH and I MADE a life together. That blows my mind, and I can't wait to see what he or she looks like, and who they take after, etc.
Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I would like to breastfeed, but am worried I may not be able to. (my mother wasn't). Still, I'm gonna try, who knows? We are definitely doing cloth diapers. Not so much for the environment, but because they will save money. I don't think there is a "right or wrong" answer though, just preferences.
Do you have names picked out yet? We have boy name we both love, but can't seem to find a girl name. There are some that we both "like", so I'm confident we will find one we both love, but nothing so far.
Do you have fur babies? If so, how spoiled are they? We have one fur baby, Clark (see siggy). He is a Cavalier, and will turn 1 year old next week! He's pretty spoiled, but only because he's such a good boy.

oh well i still have my little prince or princess on the way and he/she is all i need

my biggest worry about being a parent is that he or she will turn out like me. i want to set a great example for my baby and i want to give him or her better than what i had growing up, it wont be easy though with out a father for my little one
im most excited just to watch them grow and learn i think its amazing how quickly they do all that they do from the time they are born to the time they are todlers they learn and grown so much its amazing! i also look forward to hearing the word "mommy" directed toward me and the little nick names like "lala" (grandma) for my mom
i plan to breast feed as long as a can and will use disposable dirpers
as far as names if my little apple seed is a princess she will be Reyna Caprice Schwiderson and if my baby is a prince he will be Wyatt Presley Schwiderson

What worries you the most about being a parent? Balancing work and family...I'm really not sure I can be the parent I want to be and keep my current job.

What's something you'd like to get this holiday season?- Ummm at this point, I'd just like to get a healthy ultrasoundDH and I have dated for 7 years and will be married for 1 year in February.
This was definitely a planned pregnancy; after our surprise (and loss) in August, it truly made us realize how ready and excited we are for this next step in our lives.
I'm terrified of another miscarriage, having a stillborn child, or losing my child in another way (morbid, yes, but it's a real fear)
Just watching them grow up and become their own little person with a distinct personality. It's been so much fun to see our nieces and nephews grow up, and I can't wait to see our own kids do this as well.
I absolutely want to breastfeed (assuming there are no complications), and am willing to give CDs a try. However, I have no interest in co-sleeping/bedsharing - DH and I value our sleep way too much!
No, but we very much have the same philosophy on names (traditional and classic), so I think it will be easy to decide on a winner.
No pets (yet). Maybe a dog someday.

- I think parents do what they feel comfortable with. We will try to BF and if it doesn't work out, we'll FF - no biggie. Definitely disposable diaper.

A bit of both!! We tried for a while, got frustrated and stopped trying but didn't prevent either & BAM!! BFP!! Lol

Financial stability & returning to school after delivery
What are you most excited to experience with having a child?
Holidays!! I'm so excited to teach and see the excitement from my child when holidays are around. It brings the Joy back because I'm not a big fan of them now.

What are you most excited to experience with having a child? Honestly, right now.. just experiencing pregnancy. Last time it ended at 7 weeks... so after getting through the first tri I'll really enjoy first movements and everything. Then of course every step past pregnancy will be incredible!

What worries you the most about being a parent? not too much, we already have a 2 year old. I think adjusting to another baby may take a little time.

Do you have any stances on parenting choices yet? (BF or FF, disposable vs. cloth diapers, ect) I will BF for as long as possible up to a year. I only made it 4 1/4 months with DD, so I'm going to try to make it to a year this time around. We already use cloth diapers.
Do you have names picked out yet? For a boy it will be Wyatt Andrew, undecided for girl name.
Do you have fur babies? If so, how spoiled are they? yes a rabbit, he's actually a pain in the butt. He is litter trained and has the run of the apartment, and he has chewed all of DD books. I would like to get rid of him but DH say no. We are currently waiting to see if our offer is accepted on a house, if it is will will be getting a dog (German Shepard) this spring

What worries me the most...I honestly don't know right now...I guess just being worried about the baby in general.like I can see myself being one of those moms who keeps going in to check on the baby while he or she is in the crib
Most excited to experience, oddly enough right now, having someone who will look like me. This is one of the reasons I couldn't move to adoption when my husband&I were having problems. I was adopted, so I never really see people that look like me. I am excited for this, and of course to see someone who not only looks like me, but like a mixture of my husband&I.

Oo, yes, getting to hold my own child! I'm so sorry you had to go through that. My cousin had to after her first pregnancy. Luckily now she has two healthy boys. I wish the best for you.
