Along the lines of Penis Fascination...

I was prepared for DS to be interested in and play with his penis. I really wish he would, honestly. Instead, whenever his diaper is off, he tries to stick his fingers into his anus. Is this normal? Is this a fascination they are supposed to develop? Should I be checking him for worms?

    It probably itches. I would maybe put some aquaphor on at diaper changes.

    My DS is 3 & sticks his hands in his diaper (the back of the diaper) and is always digging around and a lot of the time it is b/c it is itchy.

    DS just started doing this as well. The penis play started around 12-15 months and still happens frequently, but the whole butt thing is driving me nuts!

    Well, I'm glad I'm not alone, at least! I have severe germaphobe issues, I'm so afraid he's going to get sick. Or get me sick!

    I'll try moisturizing but I'm not convinced that's it...
