Afraid of the dark

Not the babies, me. Everything feels twice as hard, in terms of baby care, once the sun goes down. I know its because I'm soooo tired. Anyone else dread nights now?

DH is out of town this week. Mil is staying with us, which is great, she's very helpful and capable, but its just not the same as having DH here. I'm ready for DH to be back, Friday night can't get here fast enough.

    Yes the evenings suck. Before the deployment I would literally count down to when DH would be home. Now that's not an option and it sucks. I'm so ready for August.

    Currently going through our second deployment. Can't wait for Zoe to meet her daddy!

    Yes! I mean I am exhausted right now, but I just deal with it. I think it's easier because it is daytime and we are "supposed" to be awake.
    But at night, I just feel sorry for myself for being tired because I am "supposed" to be asleep!

    I dont know why nights seem so much harder. Im just as tired during the day, but I think its that fact that night time means sleep in my brain that it just gets so much harder to get up at night.

    You're not alone!  Even though night time is getting easier in my house - I still hate it!  My little guy naps terrible during the day.  So by 11pm when DH goes to bed, I know that I still have to get up and do the feedings and I just dread it.  And I hate when DH goes out to his poker night which is tomorrow night.  I really hate being alone in the evenings.  It just seems harder than the daytime.

    Me too. My DH is out of town this week too. It stinks. I moved back in with my mommy though. I am so tired and I feel awful for DS1 who is feeling so bored and neglected.
