Having some extended friends over with their kids (age range from 6m-4yr) for a morning breakfast get together and let the kids play since we haven't seen each other for awhile. Just wonder if you've hosted or gone to larger play date like this have you given/received any kind of favor to the kids?
I wouldnt have even thought about it but last time I had a friend over w/ her son she mentioned they'd gone to a larger play date one of her preschool moms put together and the mom gave all the kids bags of homemade chalk to take home.
Are favors typical for something like this??

No but we offer snacks. We typically have a pumpkin bread or light assortment for moms with coffee and "kid" snacks with juice for the kids.
Every once in a while we plan an activity like painting play group and the person hosting provides the craft. We rotate homes with our moms club
