Re: HEADACHES!!

  • I got terrible headaches in my 1st tri with all 3 kids.  Usually tylenol, caffiene and rest would help.  I had mentral migranes before kids as well.  Hopefully relief is coming soon!!

  • I had terrible headaches around 11 weeks, & didn't want to take a bunch of medicine either. I've had problems with migraines in the past & thankfully have only had one migraine this pregnancy so far, but it was to worst one I've ever had my entire life!
The only thing I've found that works is to lay down with an ice pack covering your eyes, and try to take a nap. We have those rice filled pack thingies that you can either stick in the freezer to get them really cold or put in the microwave...they're amazing.

  • I'm 26w and have just started getting.... I don't even know if they qualify as headaches to be honest. If they are, they're very mild, but they happen all the time and are extremely annoying. At my last appointment the doctor told me it was a hormone thing and that I can take Tylenol for them if I wish.

Normally I just massage my temples until it goes away as I don't have the option of a nap since they occur mostly at work. Now that it's winter I can go stand outside until my hands get cold and then that works even faster.

Make sure you're drinking enough water, because I know that used to give me headaches pre-pregnancy.
