When people on Facebook are being so obnoxious?! I know, I know it's just Facebook and I should unfriend and move along but all I want to do is be extremely snarky!

One person said this "It's an awesome feeling to walk into work today and hear how disgusted my co workers are with the American ppl...I'm not alone in my feelings! All I can do is pray that this amazing country doesn't fall apart..." and another is complaining that his vote didn't count because of the "Electoral Collage."

Please talk me off of the ledge .

You do realize most of your liberal friends would be saying the exact same thing if Romney won right?

People are going to whine and complain no matter what happens.

Just do what I'm doing- stay off of FB for another 24 hours. Then it is old news and no one cares and life goes on.

What disappoints me more however is all these people whining about the Presidential election. How many of these people know their State Reps? Their County Reps? Etc Etc? If people want to change something, start by working on it on the local level. So many people only vote once every 4 years and don't even try to become informed or involved in local politics which can have a much more immediate impact on their lives. It is sad.

I know, it's really hard. I just don't engage, which is especially difficult considering some of my facebook friends. One said pretty much flat out that all democrats are lazy and just suck up welfare, while the other said that democrats should kill themselves(!) That was my BIL, he has a few screws loose, and yes, I did defriend him. He's an ass anyway. I just read these statuses, shake my head, and move on. No sense in debating idiots.

I don't engage in the hate or if I get really upset about something someone said, I just delete them as a friend. If it's family, I hide them because I think it will cause more issues to delete them.

This is where I stand, too. Losing an election sucks. I would be sad and complain if Obama had lost and I'm sure there would have been just as much hyperbole from liberals.

I say give them a few days to *** and moan, and if they don't straighten up and move on after a week then they're fair game and I shall mock them mercilessly.

Alright thanks ladies. I'm glad that it's not just me. I am in MA so I get that people who aren't liberal do feel disenfranchised but there's a way to discuss that without being obnoxious or insulting ignorant.

I didn't engage because typically I'll be passive-aggressive under the guise of wanting to "understand" their POV .

Holy sh*t, thats horrible! I unfriended atleast 20 people last night alone. One ex friend said that if Mitt was anything but white, he would have won, another who is a pastor said that anyone in his church who did not vote Romney is not a true Christian. He was the first to go.

As a rule I do not comment, but I had to comment on one this morning. A girl suggested we divide America and the Dems can have whichever half they want. 3 people agreed with her. I reminded her that we tried that already. Around 1860. She did respond. You can't fix stupid.
